Descartes Underwriting has strengthened its leadership team with the appointments of Sophie Bassoulet as Head of Operations and Kelly Collet-Jones as Claims Manager, as the company continues its global expansion in corporate parametric insurance.

\n\"descartes-underwriting-logo\"Both hires will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Violaine Raybaud, and are positioned to enhance Descartes\u2019 operational capabilities and client servicing during a period of rapid growth driven by increasing demand for science-based risk transfer solutions.<\/p>\n

Bassoulet brings over a decade of experience in operations management and consulting, including previous roles at McKinsey and AXA Global Direct. Most recently, she served as Operations Manager at French healthtech insurer Alan.<\/p>\n

In her new role, she will oversee operational strategy and scaling as Descartes\u2019 portfolio and product offerings expand.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Collet-Jones joins Descartes after more than a decade in senior claims roles at Chubb, following six years at loss adjuster Cunningham Lindsey France.<\/p>\n

In her new role, she will work closely with Descartes\u2019 insurance partners to build sustainable claims processes, deepening broker relationships, and deliver technical claims expertise across the Descartes Group.<\/p>\n
